We separate the chiral world
What is Chirality?
Chirality is a term in science used to describe something that is not identical to its mirror image, just like your left and right hands.
Molecules containing a chiral carbon have handedness of their various isoforms. In the same way it is difficult for a left hand to fit into a right handed glove, a chemical’s chirality changes it’s structure and function as biomolecule.
What makes molecules Chiral?
When a molecule is not identical to its mirror image, just like your left and right hand, that makes it Chiral. Molecules containing a chiral carbon have handedness of their various isoforms.
Have you ever tried to fit your left hand in to a right handed glove? No matter how you position the glove it’s never going to fit on the opposite hand. In the same respect, a chemical’s chirality changes its structure and function as biomolecule.

MOLECULATOR
Chemical manufacturing is about to meet Moleculator…
Chiral separation has never been done on a scale like this before. CMS manufactures Enantiopure molecules that replace compounds traditionally separated using HPLC.
